If you intend to make a CD or collection of CDs for use in educational settings, consider the following as possible content.

• Wikipedia content (e.g. there is a tuXlabs version which consists of Wikipedia pages selected for learners (mostly high school level but useful at other levels).
• ProjectGutenberg (2003, single CD collection) - available on Freedom Toasters in South Africa.
• A collection of tools of use in educational settings: Front page of CD 3 version 0.01. Some of the tools on this CD require some technical skills to set up.
